DAVID GRANT

David Grant is a queer actor, writer, and content creator. As a profoundly Deaf artist, David uses storytelling to champion inclusivity, Deaf representation, and accessible communication across stage, screen, and digital platforms.

He is the founder of Auslan with David, an educational initiative designed to engage children and families in learning Australian Sign Language (Auslan) through playful and creative experiences. The platform features engaging content such as Auslan Story Time, dance and sign-sing sessions, and interactive educational segments. David brings Auslan to life by blending sign language with music, movement, and visual storytelling - making language learning fun and accessible for all.

As a performer, David has developed a reputation for his versatility in both comedic and dramatic roles. His work spans short films, theatre, and digital content, often drawing from personal experiences and community stories. He is passionate about creating content that reflects Deaf culture and queer identity with humour, warmth, and authenticity. In addition to acting, David regularly produces comedy sketches, lifestyle videos, and travel content, and he collaborates with a range of creatives across Australia and internationally.
