Tom Nethersole (music / merch) is a versatile artist who has evolved from writing songs in his rural hometown to building an expansive community of devoted fans across Naarm’s music scene and beyond. Set against the backdrop of growing up queer in regional Victoria, Tom’s music blends pop & folk elements in order to communicate these deeply personal stories. On stage, his live performances are electric with fragile and intimate moments sitting alongside bursts of energy, creating shows that linger with audiences long after.
His latest EP, ‘Father, Son & the space in between’ earned widespread acclaim, supported by Triple J, FBi Radio & Rolling Stone Australia.
Since leaving home for the city in 2023, Tom has headlined multiple shows, played festivals like SPILT MILK, Rockhampton River Festival & Victoria’s Pride, supported acts such as RARIA & Drax Project, and shared lineups with Sombr, Dominic Fike & Doechii.
In the music industry & beyond, Tom continues to advocate & curate welcoming spaces for young queer people and honest conversations about mental health.
